description
This medieval hamlet, nestled in a natural reserve of over 400 hectares in the heart of the Chianti hills, has been carefully restored and converted into a 4-star hotel.
The estate is composed of a manor house and 4 country homes, the rooms are distributed in different buildings and, most of them, are characterized by a traditional Tuscan design in perfect harmony with the history of the place and the surrounding environment. Here the terracotta and wood, typical of the farmhouses but also marble and the local stone called "pietra serena", together with the high ceilings, give each room a particular charme and elegance.
The exterior of the hotel, immersed in the greenery of the Chianti countryside, reflects its origins as a small medieval village, with its church and the square around which the farmhouses have been built and the villa with its restaurant terrace overlooking the square.
The garden hosts 2 swimming pools, a smaller one for enjoying a refreshing swim, the second one for swimming in a more competitive way. This historic structure is set away from the busy and noisy main roads of urban centers but, despite its quiet location, it is very central and is located exactly between the provinces of Siena and Florence.
